Travel During Inclement Weather
Inclement weather can cause flight delays and cancellations. The terminal building never closes so travellers will never be stranded without shelter. To check on the status of your flight, contact your airline directly or visit Today’s Flights which is updated regularly by the airlines and shows flight information for the next several hours.
The suggested airport arrival times are estimates given by each airline, and can vary depending on many factors. For information on specific flights, please check with your airline before you come to the airport.
The Airport Authority recommends allowing at least 2 hours for all flights.
All passengers should carry photo identification. Travellers flying to international destinations, including the United States, must have a valid passport.
Some countries also require other documentation. To find out what you need to travel from Canada to specific countries, contact the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. To get information on what you need to travel to Canada, please contact Canada Border Services Agency.
