The Canada Border Services Agency (CSBA) provides a full range of services at Canada’s international borders and airports. Customs officers are responsible for making sure both travellers and commercial goods meet all necessary criteria for entry into Canada. They also monitor and control the importation of firearms, drugs, and other goods.

Duty free shops are operated by The Loop Duty Free. There are two shops located in the terminal building. One is on the Departures Level, across from Gate 24, which closes 45 minutes prior to departure of non-U.S. International flights so staff have enough time to deliver purchases to the gate. The second shop is in the U.S. Preclearance facility, which stays open for all U.S. flights until final boarding call.
