The Halifax International Airport Authority (HIAA) invites Expressions of Interest from individuals, businesses, organizations, and service providers interested in operating from an HIAA managed property located at 993 Bell Blvd., Goffs, Nova Scotia.
As Halifax Stanfield continues to grow as Atlantic Canada’s hub airport, HIAA is seeking passenger and community-focused business concepts that contribute positively to the Airport environment and enhance the experience of travelers, visitors, airport employees, and the broader community.
HIAA welcomes innovative and service-oriented proposals that align with its vision of creating a convenient, welcoming and engaging the Airport environment through thoughtful commercial and community-focused offerings.
Property Description
The property includes a potential leasing opportunity of the property or the facility located at 993 Bell Blvd., Goffs, Nova Scotia, within Halifax Stanfield’s commercial core area. The facility is approximately 6,000 square foot single-level building featuring a combination of office, operational, and service-oriented space. The property benefits from direct access and visibility along Bell Boulevard and is well-positioned to support a range of passenger, traveler, and community-focused commercial uses.
Desired Uses and Vision
HIAA is seeking innovative and service-oriented business concepts that:
• enhance the passenger, visitor, or airport employee experience;
• contribute positively to the Airport community and overall Airport environment;
• complement the continued growth and evolution of Halifax Stanfield’s commercial core;
• and provide accessible, convenient, and valued services to travelers and the surrounding community.
The opportunity may be suitable for a range of customer-focused or community-oriented uses, including but not limited to:
• traveler support services;
• pet-related services;
• wellness or lifestyle services;
• convenience-based offerings;
• community-oriented services;
and other concepts that align with HIAA’s vision for a welcoming and engaging Airport campus. HIAA welcomes proposals from both existing operators and new market entrants.
