Airports are emotional places where journeys of hope, and sometimes regret, begin and end. For the most part, these emotions are positive, as people travel on holiday, are reunited with family or friends, seek new adventures, or pitch new business ideas. Sometimes, experiences can be less than happy, as loved ones part or as a business person returns home without a hoped-for success.
With this in mind, part of our job at Halifax Stanfield International Airport is to help and comfort those in need, and to join the celebration of happy travellers. We recognize that each one of us plays a role in the delivery of superior service, and that one poor experience can reflect on the entire airport.
Words that we hope describe our airport are: happy, helpful, courteous, caring and kind. This is “The Stanfield Way” of doing business.
