Together with Autism Nova Scotia, we’ve created Autism Aviators, a program that aims to ease the travel process for individuals on the autism spectrum.
The program includes an annual mock travel day where individuals on the autism spectrum and their families get to experience airport processes first-hand, including check-in, security screening, departures and boarding an aircraft.
As part of this program, resource material has been created to help ease the travel experience for anyone on the autism spectrum. This material may also be very useful for anyone who has a special need.
